Metascab Ointment

This ointment serves as an excellent remedy for various skin conditions. Metascab Ointment effectively treats scabies, oozing eczema, dirty ulcers, carbuncles, and other scaling skin ailments, whether they are acute, chronic, or particularly persistent.

COMPOSITION AND PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION:

SUDHA GANDHAK

20% w/w

Tonic and blood purifier, widely acknowledged in traditional medicine as well as in other medical practices. (Purified Sulphur). Exhibits a scabicidal effect by converting into hydrogen sulfide and paratheonic acid. It is highly recommended for treating chronic skin infections such as psoriasis, seborrhea, ringworm, eczema, scabies, and lupus erythematosus.

YASHAD BHASMA

10% w/w

Astringent. Alleviates burning sensations and itching. Supports wound healing. Beneficial for stubborn ulcers and aids in granulation. Effective in dermatophytosis and various other infections.

OIL OF PONGAMIA GLABRA (KARANJA OIL)

3% w/w

Astringent, beneficial for piles, boils, and skin parasites. Eliminates both animal and plant parasites responsible for skin diseases. Useful for treating eczema, sores, scabies, and herpes, especially when used alongside Yashad Bhasma. Helps alleviate psoriasis, origo capitis, and pityriasis. Kills bacteria found in foul ulcers and fistulous sores, and is somewhat effective in leprosy.

INDICATIONS:

Dry & Weeping eczema, scabies, chronic boils and ulcers, psoriasis, seborrhea, ringworm, sensations of burning & itching, especially when the causative organism of the topical infection is unidentified.

APPLICATION:

Apply gently on the affected areas 3 to 4 times per day until the medication is absorbed into the skin.
